Our thesis for the future of the industry

The logistics industry is facing a future characterized by increasing digitization, regulation, and a growing demand for greener and more resilient supply chains. These trends are driven by global megatrends such as climate change, population growth, and technological advancements. These trends will have a significant impact on the way we do business in the future, and we must adapt to remain competitive.

Some of our previous innovation projects

Digital Warehouse Twin

Our team has successfully developed a comprehensive Digital Warehouse Twin, which integrates a 3D model updated with live data (such as tracking and computer vision) and data from other systems, including dimensions, throughput, and inventory of individual products or materials.

Digital Cargo Twin

Our team has successfully developed a comprehensive Digital Warehouse Twin, which integrates a 3D model updated with live data (such as tracking and computer vision) and data from other systems, including dimensions, throughput, and inventory of individual products or materials.

Offshore cargo drones

We have implemented the use of autonomous drones for the delivery of spare parts to technicians located offshore (e.g., wind farms and oil rigs) or in remote locations. This innovative approach provides a significantly faster and more cost-efficient alternative compared to traditional modes of transportation.

Visibility platform

We provide a comprehensive visibility platform that empowers real-time cargo tracking through the implementation of active trackers at both shipment and asset levels. This enables complete supply chain transparency, ensuring seamless transport compliance.

Semi-autonomous trucks to mitigate driver shortage

Newair Express has partnered with leading truck manufacturers and technology companies to test semi-autonomous driving technology. Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), which are key to improving the safety and comfort of our drivers, are being utilized in these tests.

Autonomous Inventory Drones

We have implemented an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) system to track goods without human interaction and determine the occupancy status of pallet locations. As a result, the system minimizes disruption and improves the quality of warehouse operations.
